This is part 2 of my Bridesmaid dress series where I showcase my bridesmaid dresses I’ve worn for weddings and reflect on my younger self. This pink guava bridesmaid dress I wore for the second wedding I had the opportunity to be a part of. I believe I was actually 20 when they had their wedding, but this post will be dedicated to my 18 year-old self. (I still can’t believe 18 was 7 years ago!! Where did time go?)
Anywho, if you missed my part 1 of this series you can read it here! It’s a letter to my 13 year-old self.
I will also include a bridesmaid tip & some pink dresses at the end.

Last week was International Women’s Day. A day to celebrate and recognize the movement for women’s rights. I wanted to recognize that day because it’s important, and I could not not include it in a blog post.

The sun has risen. It is a new day. May we be bolder and stronger to fight for justice and stand for those of us who can’t. May we be more kind and more compassionate. May we realize that hurt is real, pain is real, injustice is real. May we have courage to stand for those in fear, to stand for what is right, to stand for those who hurt. May we continue to stand for peace and justice. May we be light in the darkness.
